As the markets prepared for another crisis caused by the radical tariffs of President Donald Trump, the Democrats hammered the president for spending the weekend to golf instead of responding to the fears of the Americans that his retirement accounts collapse with the markets.
Trump left Washington, DC on Thursday, so that Florida attended a LIV golf tournament dinner before a tournament at her doral club in Florida. On Saturday and Sunday, he played in a club championship at his Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter.
On Thursday, the first day of negotiation after Trump announced the rates, the Dow Jones Industrial Avenge collapsed almost 4%, while the heavy technological nasdaq decreased almost 6%. On Friday, the descending spiral continued with the Dow falling into 2,230 points, or 5.5%, while the S& P 500 submerged in 6%.

Dow Futures opened Sunday night for 1,500 points, or 4% percent, while the S& P 500 and Nasdaq 100 Futures also fell 4%.
The Democrats criticized Trump’s apparent lack of concern for the anxiety of Americans around tank markets.
“I think people have seen their retirement savings on fire. And there they are in the golf course,” Democratic Senator Adam Schiff on “Meet The Press” of NBC said on Sunday. “That can end up being the most lasting image of Trump’s presidency, that is, the president in a golf cart while people’s retirement is on fire.”
On Saturday, Trump encouraged Americans to “hang hard” in a publication on their real social platform. “This is an economic revolution, and we will win,” he said.
The same day, the White House told journalists that they covered the president that Trump had won his second round for the senior championship in his Jupiter club and would play in the round of the championship on Sunday. Trump published a video of him that came off in Truth Social on Sunday, although it was not clear when the video was filmed.
During the “hands outside” protests on Saturday, Democratic legislators criticized Trump’s policies and their time in the golf course.
“He wears the ass of the golf course and faces people!” California representative Eric Swalwell He told Trump In front of a crowd that protests in the National Mall in Washington.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas Posted in Bluesky: “Trump is here outside golf clubs while people are in the streets fighting.”
Senator Elizabeth Warren asked Republicans to help Democrats reverse Trump’s tariffs and stop what she called “the most silly commercial war in history.”

The minority leader of the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, also disagreed with Trump’s weekend.
“You know, Donald Trump, the greatest lie that this guy has said was that he cared about you, the American people. They do not worry about himself and his multimillionaire donors like Elon Musk,” Jeffries said on Saturday in “The Weekend” of MSNBC. “And as if we do not need any additional evidence, but at the same time that retirement savings are starring, the stock market is starring, the economy is starring, Donald Trump is in the golf course? Is this what he chooses to do?”
Trump approached Air Force One at Palm Beach, Florida, on a return route to Washington on Sunday without talking to journalists.
