A Beechcraft bonanza crashed into Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon with five people on board, according to the Federal Aviation authority.
The small plane fell near a retirement town south of Lancaster airport, Manheim Borough Police Department told ABC News to ABC News.

The plane crash occurred around 3 pm, according to FAA, which said it will investigate. The National Transportation Board is also monitoring the situation.
According to the air traffic control audio, the pilot told the Lancaster airport control tower that his plane “has an open door that we must return to land.”

Atc then cleared the plane to return, but a few seconds later, the controller told the plane to “stop,” the audio revealed.
The images taken by witnesses and shared with ABC News showed flames and smoke at the scene of the accident in Lititz, municipality of Manheim.
The governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, published a Declaration at X.com Saying: “Our team in @pastatepolice is on the ground helping local lifeguards after the small private plane crash near Lancaster airport in the municipality of Manheim. All the resources of the Commonwealth are available as the answer continues, and more information will be provided as available.”
